A Brief Biography of Loston Wallace

Professional

Loston Wallace has been a professional artist since 1996, providing artwork for the role-playing industry as well as the DC Comics Licensing Department. He has had the good fortune to contribute illustrations for over 65 different role-playing books for such games as DEADLANDS: THE WEIRD WEST, STAR WARS, INDIANA JONES, BATTLETECH, SHADOW RUN, and GURPS.

While Loston has penciled both BATMAN and SUPERMAN Activity Books for DC, KLYDE & MERIEM, a Basement Comics publications, was his first venture at penciling a comic book. As a child, he dreamed of either drawing comics or discovering dinosaurs, and through KLYDE & MERIEM, he felt both dreams came true. Getting to work with author Bob Smith and inker Kim DeMulder just made the experience that much sweeter.

Loston hopes to continue penciling comic books, and to someday draw CONAN, BATMAN, or the FANTASTIC FOUR.

Personal

Loston was born in Clintwood, Virginia. He met his wife Carolyn while both were attending the Joe Kubert School of Art, and the two now live in Cary, NC, surrounded by their extensive collections of science fiction and comic book memorabilia.
